Are prospective clients required to show identification?
No – Identification is not required to view or tour a home. If a seller requests identification before a showing is allowed of their home, it will be enforced for all potential buyers viewing or touring the home Agents may also request identification upon first meeting a client if no prior relationship has been established.
Is an exclusive broker agreement required?
No – Agents may request one and if they choose to do so, they will require it for all of their clients.
Is a pre-approval for a mortgage loan required?
No. If a seller client requests one before allowing showings, it will be enforced for all potential buyers viewing or touring that home. Agents may also request one and if so, they will require it for each of their clients.
